Our experience – advantage for your four-legged friend
The two founders Jens Nielsen and Rainer Kröpke each have more than 30 years of development experience in the cosmetics industry. The previous market products in the animal sector have prompted us to develop our own brand and now offer high-quality, nature-based animal cosmetics.
All our products are tested and developed together with a veterinarian.

Focus on raw material quality
Care products for us humans have to fulfil a certain quality standard and are regularly checked and certified. However, we rarely scrutinise products for our animals and do not know which raw materials are contained in which quality. We can hardly ever be sure whether the products are really good for our animals. This is precisely why we at Tojo Cosmetics GmbH have thought about the perfect animal care products. That’s why we only use natural, organic raw materials and highly effective active ingredients for our pet care products. Just like our beauty products for humans. With us, you can be sure that our products guarantee ideal, gentle and well-tolerated care for our four-legged favourites.
Clean Beauty – now finally available in the pet care sector
Products for animals are a “commodity” and are only lightly regulated in the Consumer Goods Act. The declaration is more or less free, the raw materials used are not tested and this leads to today’s products, which are among the cheapest formulations and technologies in terms of raw materials.
Highly allergenic substances are often used, which have been strictly regulated or banned in human cosmetics for years. However, our four-legged friends are very clean animals and often lick their fur and paws. This means that some dangerous substances are repeatedly ingested orally.
This is not the case with Elbpfoten and Elbpferd products – all clean beauty.
